1.Enable Friends Authenticators
If somehow an attacker knows your facebook’s email ID or password then he/ she will try to login to your Facebook account. Also after you make several mistakes with the password your Facebook account get’s locked. So to gain back access to your account you can take help from your friends if Friends Authenticators is enabled on your account. Which will help you to get back to your account very easily. The process to enable this feature on your Facebook account is very easy. Login to your account then click on Settings and Privacy. Now your friend’s authenticator is enabled and you can take help from your friends whenever you get locked out from your Facebook account.

2. Know which devices You Are Logged in
Another way to keep your Facebook account more secured you can easily check which devices you are connected with. If you are unaware of the benefits of knowing logged in devices then. You will be aware of what are the devices you have used to log in to your Facebook account. After you know which device is your Facebook is connected with then you can even log out from those devices which you haven’t connected or logged in to your Facebook which will help your account to be safe.
So to check the logged-in devices from your computer what you can do is log in to your account then click on Settings and Privacy. After that go to Security and Login. Now under the section “Where you’re logged in” it shows where are you logged in from and the location of your device. If you find any unwanted and unknown devices then you can simply log out from the device and I also request to change your password as soon as possible.

Also, I wanted to add if you haven’t enabled the two steps verification on your Facebook account then you must turn it on as soon as you can. How does it help is if you or someone else tries to log in to your account from an authorized place you will get a code in your mobile phone or email? So, even if the attacker knows your id and password he can not log in to your account without the code. In other words, we can say it is an extra protection or security layer that helps us and protects our account from unwanted access.
